In the game of loans and subsidy, the government officials, bank officials and traders thrust upon 1,700 farmers loans up to lakhs of rupees and sent them to darkness of humiliation and unemployment. With not even a drop of water reaching in the fields of these farmers, it became impossible for the farmers to return the loans. The film documents struggle of these farmers against these unjust loans.
