Cultivation of genetically modified BT Cotton caused heavy losses to lakhs of farmers in Madhya Pradesh, including Malwa-Mimad regions. The farmers were attracted to the BT Cotton following aggressivne advertising campaign of the multinational seed company, but in return they were only ruined. The film portrays country-wide struggle launched against BT seeds by the Beej Swaraj Abhiyan.
