We are seeking an additional Rs 15,000 per child per year to improve upon the standard of education at Sampark Buniyadi Shala (Sampark Foundation School).
Sampark Buniyadi Shala is a school for tribal children. This is fully residential school being run on Sampark compound since the year 2004. The children, whose parents migrate for livelihood, are taught in the school, recognised by the Government till class 10. At present the school has 350 children and the plan is to take the number till 500 children.
Apart from curriculum study, the children learn small livelihood skills also like making candle, pain balm, hair oil, painkiller oil, churn, tooth powder, etc. In addition, they are also trained in vocations like beauty parlour, gents parlour, handicraft, etc. The objective is the children learnt other skills in addition to studies.
Minimum fee ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 is charged annually from the children, while the actual expense on a child ranges from Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000, including tuition fee and boarding and lodging expenses. Many families are not in a position to afford even this minimum amount, because of which we are facing problems in imparting quality education.
In view of this, we are seeking an additional Rs 15,000 per child per year to improve upon the quality of education. You can fund for as many children as you wish.
